D.C. area MAF prices

For any who are interested, I just picked up a backup MAF (part # 226802Y001) after comparing prices at various Washington DC/NoVa/Md. dealers....so here's the rundown:

This is for the 2k/2k1 max...not sure if it works on the newer ones...

Best price and service (didnt try to BS me): Passport Alexandria Nissan: listed price at $113, but he gave it to me for 103 + tax.

Brown's Sterling Nissan: 133.62 (but was out of stock)
Brown's Fairfax Nissan: 146.00 (in stock)
Passport Nissan Marlow Hts. Md. : 113.42 (in stock)

Uh, MAF sensor....why would I buy the MAf without a sensor? Do they even sell it without the sensor? MAF=Mass Air Flow...I would hope the airflow through the pipe is free. sorry I'm a smartass.

The MAF is sold as a one piece with the sensor and tube.

Why not just get it from Dave Burnette at SouthPoint for $80 something?

OK in that case, I got the MAF not just the sensor for that price, since it came in the tube....I had heard the "entire assembly" was a few hundred bucks, but I guess not. The part # was given to me by a fellow .org member.

I'm leaving on a long road trip tomorrow and want a backup (so I don't get stuck in like WestVa. where they don't know what a Nissan is), so didn't have time to order it from Dave. I just posted the prices in case someone in this area blows theirs and wants a new one immediately. Does the $80 from DaveB include shipping?

OK, so the MAF prices are a little high.
But D.C. has some of the best prices on crack and hookers
in the entire country.
