interesting question

if my max is front wheel drive, why do i still have the hump behind my center console for my driveshaft? probably a stupid question and i just dont know it, but i hate that hump.
my bro looked at honda civs the other day and they were humpless.

Compared to RWD cars, the hump in the rear (thats funny) is considerably smaller (thats funny too...)..its late and i need sleep...

Humps make the floor pan more resistant to torsional flexing and it creates a nice pathway to tuck the exhaust so it would not hang so low.
