is there any difference between regular wheel alignment and high speed, or is it the same thing?

never heard of that. but i have herad of wheel balance and high speed wheel balance, which is just more of a precise method of balancing your wheels. it's all the same to me.

Yes there are different types of wheel alignments
There are two for FWD - one is the "thrust" alignment where all 4 wheels are aligned, most newer cars use this method.
There may be a diff. alignment for 4x4's.

Alignment and balance are not the same. You can have your tires high speed balanced, but ther is no such thing as a highspeed alignment. The align ment have to do with the angle of the tires in relation to the rest of the car/tires.
