weak points

weak points

can someone name some weak ares on the maxima.....like places to beefen up or change so the car last longer on some mildy heavey then normal style of driving?

The brakes SUCK, the tires a horrible, it cant make any tight turns, HID's get stolen, it has horrible resale, the paint SUCKS....BUT I LOVE MY MAXIMA!!

Brakes are the weak spot...You'll get warpage whatever your driving style with a 5th gen. The car seems to benefit ALOT from a FSTB and RSB so you might want to look into that. Other than that, the car drives fine. You might want to look into getting a VB, change the 2-3 solenoids, and changing the TCM (MY2000 built before sept) and transmission cooler. The factory tires are suprisingly good when they have decent thread life on them in dry weather.

Stock tires not bad when it is dry. But with some wear in a good rainstorm
all i can say is carry a spare set of pants with you.
