How to Install 02 sensor?!?!

hey all.

my Rear/Bank 2 oxygen sensor i busted. i ordered a new one thru dave b, hes
the man, and it should b arriving by tomorrow. thing is im going to sunday river tomorrow nite and really want to replace it b4 i leave cuz its effecting my gas mileage a descent amount and i hate seeing that damn service engine soon light.

any one have pics of where it may be and even more importantly instructions on how to install?!?! i checked the 5th gen "how to's" but no luck.

lil help maybe any one please? iv searched around alot and have any idea. i kno its not hard but i jus wanna b sure cuz i trust u guys on the org and would b more confident doin it with ur advice.

Just 2 be on the safe side remove the negative off the battery. Unplug the O2 sensor plug which is located near the rear of the engine on the top (should be light blue in color),then unscrew the old O2 sensor itself from the header/exhaust manifold. To install just reverse this process. Hope this helps.

Once you've identified the location you'll need an O2 socket. You can get one from autozone for $10-15, or borrow one of theirs and leave a $10 (?) deposit, but get that back when you return it. Then, get the longest wrench you can fit in the space (the one down under the car half way along underneath I used a breaker bar because the ***** was in TIGHT), to maximize torque and just unscrew and put the new one back in.

thanx for the tips guys. thats awesome that autozone will do that. ill take advantage of it since we have **** for tools at my house and are scattered in the basement.
the org rox u guys have never failed with advice, tips, etc. when needed.
