(he had 2 passengers)...I had 4 people in the car total and had no problems climbing snow-covered hills or stopping. Obviously I still slipped on some hard ice, but on slush, snow (some up to 8") no problem. I have new Falken Ziex 512s...they worked as advertised....great in the winter stuff..i felt very secure even at higher speeds on slush-covered highways.

Nice car, I like your friend's color, the Grey Lustre. How much those tires cost, did you get them at Tirerack.com?
I got the falkens through Sears...they were on backorder, so I called Falken headquarters after 2 weeks, *****ed a little, and the rep found a set for me out at some little tire store in the midwest and UPS'd them here...good customer service.I paid about $115 each for them...great deal. Apparently they are on backorder all over bc Consumer Reports ranked them as one of the top all-season tires (up there with the Pilot AS).

My buddy's car is stock except the tint and rack 2k1 auto...he almost went off the road a few times with the craptenzas...also stuck there at the McDonalds...very funny!! I only slid once on the 512s, and that was going too fast into a corner...ABS worked like a charm!
