Exactly what is this edition and what does it come with?

 

Main features are:

Polished Titanium Rims
Compass in rearview mirror
"special" stitching in the steering wheel
Chrome door sills
Titanium colored dash trim

Doesn't that include the Bose radio and sunroof? hmm, not sure....mine have them though

I have Bose and no leather.. I think TE has Bose included, but not necessarily leather.

 

ohh then i mixed it up...

all leather 5th gens have bose - that makes sense, right?

--like if you want leather, you have to get bose
--but if you want only BOSE, you can get it without leather

 

base models like gxe don't have bose. they have clarion and cloth interior.

The Titanium Edition has the Meridian package, (heated seats, mirrors, and steering wheel). I think if you dont have the TE then you don't have Meridian.

 

They're all made by Clarion, Bose or non-Bose. Altima's have it better, their Bose units are OEM'd by Panasonic.

 

You have an 02 for 03 Nissan changed up the packages a bit, my boys 02 has the 6 disc with bose and cloth. For 03 you could only get the 6 disc with the TE edition leather or cloth, cloth SE's without TE doesnt offer it. They also didnt offer the TE package on Glacier Pearl cloth SE's with the Blonde interior.

No Meridian here either....kinda forgot about the side airbags as well.....

I just liked my car because it seemed to have all the basic things I wanted (6-disc was soo cool, esp. coming from single CD player car previous), nice wheels, moonroof, extra airbags, rearview mirror, etc. without having to get things like leather (although I would like ) and TC (again, ) and navi. Great package.

 

I came from a no-cd casette player and fm/am radio!

Wrong!! I have everything including 6 disk in dash CD and Bose. Only thing I
don't have is leather.

Just to clarify...most of the features in the TE are available on other Maxes, except for the ones mentioned by LithiuMax in the post at the top...Hell, my 2k SE 5sp has leather, heated seats/mirros. Bose, auto climate, side airbags, etc....btw anyone know if 2k was available with heated steering wheel?

 

My take:
Polished Titanium Rims - very sharp (and $600 per w/o tire)
Compass in rearview mirror - you'll use it if, like me, you don't like asking for directions but do like eventually arriving at your destination.
"special" stitching in the steering wheel - never noticed it.
Chrome door sills - sharp
Titanium colored dash trim - like all fake metal trim, OK at best

I have the TE package on my 03 SE.
I don't have TE paint. I don't have leather and because of that I don't have meridian package (heated mirrors,seats and steering wheel).

I do however have power moonroof, TE wheels, stitched steering wheel and shift ****, Bose 6disc, TE maxima sills, the dash trim and compass in mirror.

The two options exclusive to 2k3 is the TE paint and wheels.

 

That's a lot of bells and whistle for a Titanium edition

 

but not all TE have the ME

my friend bought a cloth 2003 TE SE and didn't get the heated steering wheel...

you are wrong, we are talking about 2003 Maxima's...there was no Titanium edition in the 2002...

and in 2003 only the TE came with the 6 disc in dash changer

VQ, I have a TE as well. However, any Bose equipped 2003 Maxima has a 6 disc changer UNLESS it has Nav. My freind has a non TE 03 SE and he has Bose w/6disc. So does my buddies mom with her GLE. FWIW, the TE has the following features included in the package:
Bose AM/FM/Cass/CD6 with RDS
Front seat airbags
Bright wheel finish
Floor mats
Stainless steel sill plates
Titanium tint accent stitching in steering wheel and shift ****
Compass in mirror
Those items are right off my sticker. And also, the sunroof was not part of it. That was a $899 option (off my sticker too).
