window problem

i need some help. my driver side rear seat on my 2k is messed up. i cannot put the window down, but i can put it up. i checked the fuse and it did not look wrong. what else could go wrong with it? could it be the motor that pulls the window up/down? and if so, could it be fixed or would i have to buy any replacements?
thanks.

It is probably the switch...remove the switch and check the wires for current. You can by pass the switch manually to test the motor. I would guess the switch got moisture in it. There is a TSB on it. It can also cause the doors to lock automatically when the car is on..sucks to get locked out at the gas station. Anyway, they say to remove the switch and replace either the switch or harness and use a sealer around the contacts from what I remember. On a new car, the motor is probablby fine, unless it shorted and stayed on too long. Thank Nissan- I already changed the steering wheel radio control switch...and the thing isnt even the same color white...as stock...thanks Nissan.

hhmm, i didnt think about that. my friend is a car guy and fixes and mods his car himself and he said it is most likely the motor. though i wont see my friend till may i will give that a try first. i am hoping it is a self fix problem. the car is only 3 years old, but it already had close to 100 000 clicks on it. other than my driver side heat seat not working (which the ppl at nissan kindly avoided to take care of and now my warrently is over) this is the second problem i have run into. btw, after how many kilometers do u guys usually do an oil change. i usually just do it when the dealership tells me but i got it done from a friend this time and i dunno after how many clicks u should get one. thanks.
