Does anybody know if they make a turn signal light that is colored blue when off, but it blinks amber. I can only find the ones that are clear or a chrome color as I took out the orange reflector and need to put a clear one in its place.

I already have the blue colored bulb in my 2000 lights that blinks amber and i like that look. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Why do you want them colored blue when they are off? Why not have them silver so basically it doesnt emit a blue hue from the lens?

so it will match my parking light bulb, it is hyperwhite and colored blue and you can see a tint of blue when it is off as well. i think a light blue in the headlight looks clean.

 

Sylvania has a new bulb like that, I saw it on there website.

 

So what you want is a running light that is hyper white, but then blinks amber for the turn signal? Or do you want it just to be blue colored when the car is off? I can make LED bulbs that are white and blink orange. They wont be cheap though. I'd say $35 a pair.

 

What i want is a 7440 bulb that is colored blue but blinks amber/orange. The only time the light will be lit is when i use my turn signal and it will blink orange. Otherwise , the light will be off and you will be able to see a tint of blue through the clear turn signal lense that i put in!


These are the type of bulbs that i am talking about! Sylvania makes them for the 2K but not in the correct size for the 2K2+. They run $22 a pair!
