i checked coutesyparts.com and they have the cool AE brake pedal but they also have the whole gas pedel assembly. i only need the brake cover.

You have to buy the brake pedal cover and the whole gas pedal assembly. The gas pedal assembly is from a 2k-2k1 model. Those models didn't have the drive by wire electronic throttle system. That is why it is so cheap. When you get the assembly, you will take off the pedal part (very self explanatory when you see it). The metal accelerator bar is a little bit skinnier on the 2k2-2k3 model than it was on the 2k-2k1 model. This problem is solved by putting a couple of turns of electrical tape around the 2k2-2k3 accelerator bar.

Make sure you also get the dead pedal footrest from the 350Z page and put that in too. It is a perfect match for the AE pedals.
