If the search f(x) was working, you'd likely find a few good threads on this topic.....

As I recall -- there are quite a few remedies for this issue, one of which is 3M Plastic cleaner. There are alot of similar products out there that have the same cleaning properties, such as the multitude of Motorcycle Plastic cleaners/polishers, like I useon my bike.

Try any of these (meguiar's/mother's/3m) and you should be good to go.

I personally haven't had any serious issues with this yet - but I DO polish them each time I wax with the Meguiar's three step process.

Don't stress -- the haze is easily removed.

Wax or plastic polish is all I ever used to keep my headlights looking new.

I should get around to trying out my new bottles of 3M Plastic Cleaner and 3M Plastic Polish this weekend. Supposedly Meguiar's gold class wax can do the trick, but I'm not sure how or why (does Gold Class contain abrasives and/or polish?)

FYI, I think 3M Plastic Cleaner is an abrasive cleaner, while Plastic Polish is more of a petroleum-based compound... 3M Plastic Cleaner contains quartz silica dust.
