Big brake upgrade and ABS

Does this cause your ABS to not function anymore? Great braking would be great but increased chances of skidding would not be fun. Especially with the crap Potenzas in the rain.

If the abs sensors are still located on the end of the CV joint, then the ABS should be fully functional even after a big brake upgrade. At least the 3-gens are like this and I suspect the 4 and 5-gens are similar.

If the big brakes don't displace the ABS hardware they shouldn't affect it. Then again, if you can activate the ABS with your current brakes, the big brakes won't make you stop any faster because you are still limited by the traction between the tires and the pavement. The big brakes will help on repeated stops as they will dissipate more heat.
