HIDs are very sensitive issue here in this board. Tons of people got their HIDs stolen from all over the place; mostly east coast. I'm not accusing you as a thief in any means and I do want to help you out but at the same time, I don't want to tell people how to remove headlights (due to theft issue). So, I would like to hear from other members what would be a resonable thing to do here. Maybe you can post a picture of your car or something.

If you are pulling them apart, youll need a heat gun and some patience.

The lamps are basically two pieces (lens and bucket) and are "caulked" together. You need to heat this caulk up and slowly and carefully work the two pieces apart. Its not easy and it very time consuming. Obviously you dont want to have the electronics in there when you do this and dont concentrate the heat in any one spot for TO long or youll be sorry.

Good luck!

well if you are just opening up the headlights, you can heat them up in the oven (enough to make the caulk soft) and use a knife to slice through the caulk.
