CustomMaxima Kit STATUS?????

Does anyone know the status on the body kit Custom Maxima was making for the 5th Gen. It's been about a year now and I still don't see one being offered.

I'd just do Stillen or Sarona or VIS and stop waiting for CustomMaxima to be done. I've seen numerous threads about it commin out and nothing.

Don't hold your breath. I don't think that kit is ever going to come out. Maxx Tuning made a concept for the 2k2, 2k3 WAY after Custom Maxima and is about to release the kit. Way to do business Custom Maxima.

I talked to Jose last week. The kit that they are making isn't gonna be available until late March at the earliest.

This is the kit that I am referring to:

The above kit is gonna be called the "Razor" kit. I have asked for pictures of the back, but haven't received a reply yet.

As we all know, the March timeframe is a "CustomMaxima" time, so it may be NEXT Christmas before it actually ships.

Its kinda ugly; they should switch projects and create those skyline bumpers instead.

it is all those straight edges on the bumper that dont blend with the rounded corners and body lines of the max

I agree, those straight lines dont look that good with the overall shape of the maxima. Looks like I might be going with the fascia instead

I don't believe for a second that Custom maxima even has a kit in production.

Maxx tuning is the way to go. He asked what do we want, we told him, he had it made, it will be going on sale shortly. To top it off, HE HAS F0CKING PICTURES!

The bumper line doesn't flow correctly and are going a little up where they should go down a little. I think it wouldn't take much for this kit to look great.

Just my 2 cents.

I'd like to see something more rounded like on this Q45.

At first, I wasn't too big a fan of the kit, but it really grew on me. And your right, it wouldn't take much to make that kit look really nice. And since I'm gonna have to wait awhile to save up for any kind of exterior modifications, I just might get it (whenever it comes out, lol I'll have plenty of time to save up for it and installation/paint charges from the body shop).

Who knows if they are even making the skyline bumpers, but at least we know their making the razor kit, even though they're taking their sweet time with it. I think it will be cool to see any new type of body kit for the 5th gen maxima, I think were all past due for a new one.

Sorry to burst your bubble. Have you seen pics of any kit from CustomMaxima? Have you seen price quotes? Have you seen a mock-up? Waiting for a CustomMaxima kit is waste of time.
