Did anything ever happen with that? I think it was custom maxima.com? Who won and where they built? I stoped checking after I bought the m5. What's the dealy?

 

MaximaZero & Stealth Inteceptor won on custommaxima.com's "contest". They said they were making both kits, but it's been ages since an update. I highly doubt they've even started on it.

 

Can anyone get an update on this?
Has CustomMaxima posted on this?

Will this be crap Fiberglass like Sarona?
Re-inforced Fiberglass?
or (expensive but good) Urethane?

 

They are not making it and they never will.

 

2tone, here's what cm claimed they were going to make in their last post:
full bumper replacement for front which resembled Zero's design & Stealth's design -- 2 kits. Made out of ABS plastic supposedly as great as urethane but cheaper. They claimed it could be bent in half w/o breaking. Few weeks later, more b.s. as they said they were finished the kit & were getting professional pics of it. Those pics are still coming This was about 8 mths ago?

You guys are 2k-2k1'ers so it wouldn't matter, but if ppl are lookin for a kit they should just get the MaxTuning lip and Stillen sides/rear or whtever.

03 brand new when I got it in July.

I second that! Gimme the M5! I talked with a guy last year who had a black 02 M5 with the Dinan 2 upgrade. It was SSIICKK!!!
