I was wondering what the current hp would be with just an injen cai and greddy evo cat back on the 03 max. i was guessing about 265-270 or is that just wishful thinking.

 

unfortunately, thats very wishful thinking. the hp in 2k2-k3 was overrated from the factory and the torque was underrated. you can see many examples in the dyno forum. if you want to know where you are then fork out a little cash and get a dyno.

 

I have a full catback , straight pipe and an intake and I dynoed 215 FWHP and 230 Tq......in order to get to 260-270....get ready to SQUEEZE !

i am sure the poster meant crank horsepower which would still be high even for a manual. kloogy's example is pretty representative of typical dynos which is obviously wheel hp. if the original poster meant wheel hp then hes going to need about a 50 or 60 wet shot.
