The Super Whites are actually a really white color where a lot of the other ones are more of a blue color. Depends on if you actually want a functional headlight. The Superwhites were great headlight bulbs on my Camaro.

I have the xtreme whites, they are great. Makes sure you keep your old lights in your trunk, with the necessary tools, so after 6 months or so and your PIA's burn out you have a replacement.

I had PIAA Platinum Super Whites in my Camaro and they lasted for 3 years. I had heard about bad reliability with them but I did not experience that.

I've had my PIAA's in for almost 2 years now and an accident, and they're still phine. Just don't touch the bulbs when you put em in....

Mine too. Had them through a front end accident and they were still fine. The Platinum Super Whites are the ones to go with.

I had Xtremes H4s. Both bulbs burnt out on the same day after only having them for less than 2 months. I thought they looked really impressive outside the car, but they sucked for road visibility. Especially in the rain. If you want to impress people outside the car then get them, but if you want to be able to see well at night & live where it rains a lot...forget them! My Eaglites cost less than half and although didn't turn as many heads they lit up the road better. My Eurolites even outperformed the Xtremes.

An alternative are Sylvania SilverStars. They are only around $20-25 each and last a lot longer. I have them in my Max. They are certainly no HID but they are brighter than stock.
