Well, it finally struck me too...my '03 6-disc Bose is cutting out sporadically on the left channels. The dealer is replacing it under warranty, but they warned me they've had issues with color matching the fake chrome on the titanium edition units! C'mon! I hope it doesn't end up looking like crap with some different shade of chrome. Anyone with a Titanium Edition had their Bose unit replaced? Any color match issues? Pics? Thanks guys!

Well if it's a complete mismatch would it be possible to take the original faceplate cover off and put it on the new changer.

I had mine replaced three times. There should be no problem with the fake Titaniun kit

I've had mine replaced and it matches perfectly. I think the dealer ordered the wrong colored one at first, but then had to order another one. I think the Titanium Packaged radios have a different part number.

Yes there is. The 2k2 Bose radios did not have the Titanium finish. The 2k3 Bose radios came in the Titanium finsh.

Glad to hear. Nonetheless, I now feel like I've got a pretty good feel for how common the Bose issues have been considering my service manager warned me about color matching issues on titanium edtion's with replaced bose units!! How many has he seen personally? Wow.

well, if you think about it, the titanium color playe isn't made by bose but by nissan. the Bose stereo shouldn't have any effect whatsoever by the titanium, color. That won't change the way it performs!

Just a quick update - took mine in today. Deck matches perfect and sounds great. Another CR260 - and I hope this is my first and last trip in on this issue.

Had the new engine sensor recall done as well. They hadn't heard of it, so I had to provide the #. Score another one for the org.
