With us all being 'car guys', I am assuming we've all used Haynes Manuals. I checked thier website (http://www.haynes.com) and saw they only have manuals up to 2001 Maximas. So I guess getting one for Christmas is out.

My question is, are there any technical manuals (similar to Haynes) available yet for the 2k2/2k3 Maxima? I would really like a comprehensive source to get dissassembly/reassembly instructions, torque values, bolt/thread sizes, so forth and so on. I know the Nissan Service departments have a 'Maxima Bible' they read from, I wonder if something like that is available to us 'enthusiasts'? Thanks for your time!

 

don't waste your money on a haynes manual.

spend the $$$ and get the factory service manual

I concur. The FSM will pay for itself once your warranty runs out and you have to do your own work.

 

DONT GET THEY HAYNES. I bought one for my 2000 maxima and it only had a picture of a 5th gen in it. I wasnt to impressed at all. Like everyone says get the FSM
