Hello, I am new to this forum. I just purchased a 2001 Maxima a couple of weeks ago.

I am not sure of the trim but I think it is a GXE with aftermarket leather seats. It does not have any other options (No rims, no power seats, no sunroof, etc..)

I know the higher models come with heated leather seats with the controls in the center console. My car has spacers in place where the buttons should be.

However I've looked under my leather seats and noticed unplugged cables hanging out of them. I am wondering if these are in any way related to heated seats. Could the seats be equipped to be heated and just not the car?

If so, how difficult would it be to install the cables and controls to make these heated seats?

Also, I hate my hub-capped wheels. Anyone selling rims cheap? Any other advice on what I could do to the car?
