Some problem with my 5th gen...

OK sometime when i am in a parking lot, i turn the wheels till it stops to squeeze through tight places. Sometimes when i do this it make a squealing noise. It sounds like the belt on my grandparents 84 chevy celeberty.

And when i hit the breaks during hard stops form under the shifter it makes a weird *** noise. It sounds like ti is repleasing pressure from somehting. And it make just random weird *** noises when breaking hard.

I havce not seen anyting about these problem cause i am more of a 4th genner, but any input would he helpful......thanks you guys.

As for the steering noise, when you turn your wheel to either extreme, the relief valve in the power steering pump comes into play. If you keep the wheel turned too long, you will casue the fluid in the system to overheat and possibly cause damage to your pump. Whenever you start to hear any squealing noise, just turn the wheel slightly to stop the noise. It doesn't take much movement of the steering wheel to stop the noise. I don't know where the other noise from under the shifter is coming from.
