Im a HUGE fan of either tan or black leather with a wood dash kit

But since that wasn't listed, I chose aluminum, I actually like aluminum alittle bit.

looks like aluminum is the winner here. Those 2 kits are the only molded kits I could find that wasn't wood looking. I don't like the wood look except the black cherry look that you can also get.

I just checked back on pricing $248.13 and and it's free shipping if ground is used about $15.00 for 3 day. that's pretty cool. www.woodtrim.com
deal is only till the 24th. I don't really like the flat kits.

I have Aluminum, and my buddy Maximadave has CF. I like the way it looks on his black interior. Either one would accent your car nicely.

Thanks I like the aluminum in your car but wanted the molded kit. I also like the carbon fiber but the aluminum I think will make heads turn better then CF cause the aluminum will stick out on the interior.

It's not rice it's adding style to your ride. BMW's have wood in there cars. Mercedes has wood ithe there cars. You can call it rice everybody including myself will call it style.

BMW and Mercedes have real wood in their interiors- HUGE difference. Aftermarket dash kits are somewhat ricey because they are just stick-ons you put on your dash. Many pieces just look cheap when you look at them up close. Just an opinion...flame away.

Personally, if I were to ever get a dash kit (which I won't), I would go with molded.

Back to the original question- between the two, go with aluminum. But tint those windows first!!!!

YES it is MN legal limit. I know it's week and I want to get them darker. I am trying to get it done under warranty, and I am trying to get it from different place then where I got it done for just a little extra $$.

Ehhhhh.. That definitely does not look like 30%. Mine is 20% and it's SIGNIFICANTLY darker. Are you sure they used the right film? That's crazy. I woul never have guessed that those are tinted.

Yeah I would like to go to at least 25% cause 20% would be pushing it. Yeah they need to be darker. I have seen cars around here with darker tint.

i am planning to go with the molded kit as well. is there any difference between a 2000-2001 and a 2002-2003 besides the shifter piece. the newer models have more pieces that come in the kit and i would want to use those instead. will the 2002+ fit on my car except for the shifter piece. thanks

I would call them and ask them if you can get additional pieces. I am sure you can get more flat pieces.
