Help...my lights on my air condition controls burned out

The lights for the air conditioning direction buttons burned out(i.e. defrost, head and feet, head, feet) THe bulb that illuminates the button, NOT the red indicator light telling you it is ingauged, burned out. I do not know why these are burned out but it started after i installed my remote start. the weird thing is that the first two buttons light up(head, head and feet). I dont know what to do but i have not had time to test the voltage of the circuit yet.

Well obviously you will need to get either a new unit or find out if all the LEDs burned out, most likely new unit.

LEDs are not hard to replace if you can get to them. Just cut the old one and solder the new one in place

There are four or five bulbs back there that illuminate all of the buttons. My auto and off as well as the temp adjust **** have burned out. Your friendly neighborhood Nissan has the bulbs $4 a piece.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, a few of the buttons from my climate control wouldn't come on with the headlights on. I fixed it by hitting it around the area a bit with a soft closed fist, I tried finger tapping first but it didn't work. Try it, it might work. Worked for me!

Yeah the buttons on the left side on my auto climate control arent working either. Im not really worried about it and no way am i taking it to the dealer to give them a chance to rip the dash apart and put all types of nicks and scratches all over my interior.......

I just got my 2k in November, and my manual slide temp backlighting (blue and red triangles) and the button pictures on either side are not lit, but lights work (AC and recirculate buttons) to tell me the function is working.

Does this sound like just a burned out bulb?

If so, how do I get under the cover to get at the bulb?

Thanks,

agapemike
