replacing shocks and springs

My 2k maxima has over 180,000 miles on it and the springs/shocks are totally worn out. I see the parts list and i have been thinking about the tokico blues with eibach springs. I dont race it. drive about 200 miles a day on the freeways and want a nice solid ride. are there any special pricing deals here or available for members? my husband will install them once i get them. i appreciate any information anyone can give me. thank you

Would you want close to stock ride or stiffer ride?

Either way if she goes with H&R the car will have a slightly stiffer ride. It will still maintain comfort better then most any aftermarket spring. Id definetly suggest getting a pait of struts to go with them. Tokico Blues or KYB-GR2's. The only advantage Blues have over KYB is they have a lifetime warranty. KYB I belive has a 1yr warranty.

The best price you can find for Tokicos is over at www.southwestautoworks.com

close to stock, but arent the stock springs more expensive and not as high a quality as the aftermarket ones? after the last time with the dealer, i hate to even drive by, much less go in and buy anything from them. i really need to post something about how bad that dealership was. thanks again

One more thing, it’s an easy install... it only takes about 4 hours and then you’ll need to go and get alignment done.

also ! if you want I can sell you my STOCK set of Socks and Springs, they are from my 2003 maxima SE with only 3000 mile on them...... Cheap

for a nice stiff still comfortable ride...get the H&Rs and KYB-GR2. On the highway, they are amazing combo. Soft(compared to other aftermarket) springs with stiff struts/shocks(KYB GR-2)
