hey guys. i need to retard the timing on my 2002 auto but i dont know how to do it. if someone could help me out it would be great. thanks alot

 

You need an OBD II Consult to do it, which your friendly Nissan techs will have.

Why do you need to retard it?

 

i am going to be spraying a 75 shot and want to retard the timing 4 degrees. So do i just take it down to the dealership and have them do it? my buddy works at honda, can he do it there? some more info would be appreciated. thanks - steve

 

honda wont be able to do it. im sure they have an odb2 diagnostic machine/tester but the consult 2 is used exclusively by nissan/infiniti. maybe he has or knows someone that has a contact at the local nissan dealer.

 

You should consider contacting Technosquare to see if they can customize your ECU for nitrous applications.
