Actually it would be more cause your first run was with a y-pipe. You had to replace the y-pipe to put the headers on which would minus the HP of the y-pipe. That 22.7HP is the difference from first run and that run. But all I got to say is D@MN me want.

Why is the torque curve so weird? Do you have the stock exhuast besides the headers? You probally be pushin 300 whp with a catback.

I did a search on the Cattman headers and Iron Lung in the 4th gen got 23 more HP with his headers. HNDA ETR and Iron Lung have to almost Identical gains. Is 22.7 HP worth $750.00

Did Iron also have an aftermarket y-pipe on beforehand?

Great gains for sure.

Anyone with the TQ gains as well?

Sorry Man, what do you mean weird?

Right now I'm running with:
No resonator, and the $teallin muffler...

Tomorrow, the Cattman cat-back goes on! (Resonator, Mid-pipe & Muffler)

you can see all the parts on my cardomain site..

I'd say 22hp is worth $750. Look at the stillen headers, and how much did you pay for your cat-back that gained how much hp?

Someone already put the 3.0 liter maxima headers from cattman on a 3.5, he said he say lots of gains over the stillen headers, I know he had to move some stuff, try to search for it if you have the power too.

i'm having a little trouble getting excited about this.
i think i'm missing a little something.

23 hp for $750.00. this includes header and y-pipe.

can't you get around 18-20 hp out of a $160 budget y-pipe?

i think realistically, the y pipe alone is more like 10-15 whp. The 18-20 whp is more like rice math.

lol...rice math. what if you were to install the y-pipe AND the sticker that came with it? then it's gotta be 20 hp.

Ok, there is NO y-pipe when you have headers.

The header replaces the y-pipe.

Also guys, remember this - I GAINED 23HP OVER THE STILLEN Y-PIPE!

I had the stillen y-pipe installed when I did my baseline dynos... the Cattman headers showed a gain on top of what the Stillen y-pipe already gave me...

If the Stillen y-pipe gave me ~8 (to be conservative) and the Cattman headers gave me ~22.... 22+8=30....

ok, i get it now. btw, on a 2k, a y-pipe is going to give better gains that 8. i think conservative might be closer to 12-15. i'm guessing you gained about 35 hp over stock. that's impressive.

did you do the install?

Hey Larry,

You can use some of that insurance money to get yourself a set

Yeah, Tony installed the headers and we just finished the Cattman cat-back exhaust today - AWESOME sounding!

WAAAAYYYY better than the Stillen muffler!!!!
