New 5th gen owner
I just brought a 02 max 6speed last monday and was looking to install an intake soon. Due i need to change my MAF to a 00 01 or 03 for this to work. I hear that the 02 MAF don't hold up to well. Also are teins and KGY a good set up for springs and shocks?

depends on many things bro...i've been on an intake and etc... exhaust stuff for about 15k with no problems yet.....i know quite a few 2k2's with no problems.......and then there are just as many that have had problems.....do it and just hope for the best....it's luck of the draw.

Before you do anything else, do these two things first:
a) Make certain your Maxima has the data dots TSB done (check with your local Nissan Dealer to see if Maryland residents qualify.) NOTE: You should see Data Dot stickers on your headlights and windows if its been done already.
b) Get a sensitive alarm
Because you're in Maryland, the HID theft problem may shift south of the Metro NYC area (i.e.: Philly,Dela, Md) due to Data Dot/brackets making it more "difficult" to ****** HIDs here.
Just my advice. Welcome to the club!!

The most reliable MAF for the 2K2/2K3 is part #22680-AM600. Some late build 2K2's and all 2K3's have this one. I had this one stock on my 2K2, I have an Injen intake and no problems...yet (fingers crossed)
You'll love the 6 speed!!

you can get part #22680-AM600 for free by doing tsb # lack of power very noticable.
but anyway there is list of tsb to catch up http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/tsb...=2003&tsb=none ( thanks to studman)
