shift assembly
on pre-02 and up maxs they have the steptronic or sport shift on the automatics (the curvy shift instead of straight up and down) can I buy the assembly and put it in a 01? anyone know anything about this? cost? where to buy?

steptronic hasn't come near the max... you mean the notched shifter ala mercedes benz wanna be. dealer is the only place i would imagine sells these. or try dave b maybe?
cost? at least 500 in parts only. probably twice that in reality.
