I like rims that have a polished lip/dish and then have painted spokes (either the entire spoke or on the sides of them, depending on the wheel).

The only thing is I don't really like white rims...I think it looks better with certain colors such as Merlot, Ti, Gray Lustre...

I have a white max too, but never really thought about it until now. If you end up doing it, let me know how it turns out and please post pics!!

Make sure you have a good experienced shop do it and not yourself because it is very hard. Ask Maxima Polak on how hard it was, because he messed his up real bad.

Have them powerder coated. Much more durable of a coating.

2ketitaniumSe. You can EDIT your posts vs making another one and upping your post count. At the very least don't use your huge sig every time.

That sounds real cool. Lets see some pics of that and btw, how much does it cost for something like that?

White might look decent, but the cost of having them painted the RIGHT way is going to be similar to what a brand new set of wheels would cost.

Question is if you are replacing your tires and the new ones are being mounted on, won't the mounting machine peel the paint off. That's what happemed to a 97 maxima with 5th gen wheels. I think gunmetal would look really nice btw. Find the 97-99 max on the org with those awesome painted wheels.

Your wheels are already painted... so why should this be any different? Unless you think other paints are inferior to Nissan

That is really really cheap. Asu said it would be around the price of a new set of wheels but NOOOO! BTW where are you getting them painted? What's the body shop name? Because a place here called Body Werks does a really good job painting wheels here in Chicago.

If its just regular paint they are going to chip very easily. The only way to have rims painted is to powder coat them. 200 to paint all four rims and mudflaps? In my opinon you are wasting your money, but its your money. You should at least look around, go to your performance shop and get a second opinon. Good Luck

I think it's going to be too much white. I personally like it when the rims only compliment the body, not duplicate it. Going chrome might be better, albeit expensive! Just go set some milla miglia's or whater the name is because they are cheap and look nice.

NO WORRIES. If they start to chip, which they still didn't, Then I will get them sand Blasted and then (Power or Powder)coated. (BLACK!)

QUIT HATIN' . I LOVE THE LOOK OF THE RIMS NOW!

$12 including tax. If you paint them, do it urself. and no it's not hard.
Just scrub them wheels and prime them.

I'm kinda not finished with mine although they are all painted.
It's too cold at the moment to fix 'em.
I still need to sand them due to some drips and then respray them lightly and also clear coat THICKLY.

I think you'll like the way they make your car look. I love the way they make mine look.

SEE?? I LUV THEM!!!
