Like I said, two are needed and I didn't recieve any. I contacted Hotshot, and they should be sending them out to me. This information came directly from Hotshot.

With all of the headers that are out this car you need to do something to tell the ecu data it wants to see from the o2's and there are no precats any more.
With Stillen it's the little black box.
With Cattman & HotShot it's extending the wires and mounting the the 2 o2's in question behind the main cat to fool the ecu into thinking the precats are still there.
The reason you have to do this yourself is the only other way is for HotShot to include a B-pipe with the headers that have the bungs already in them, which would drive the price up and probably cause many other problems like fitment and different mufflers.

[QUOTE=Y2KSESteve]Yes, HotShot is sending out the missing bungs to everybody that ordered a header.[/QU I second that, but they aren't stainless. For those who have stainless steel cat back systems, like myself I ordered ss bungs off Ebay for $22 shipped. I don't want to compromise the ss piping on my car. I am already inconveinienced enough with already installing headers and riding around with ses light on and having have to go back to shop and spend more money to have these things drilled and welded in. We should get some sort of kick back. Dyno improvement so far has been from 197 to 214 and torque stayed the same at 220 on my auto. My car has been suffering from the TS reflash in which I lost 10 hp. Trying to get that settled.

BTW I don't like the "black box" setup because the more I think about it I believe it will mess up the mixture in closed loop as the temps change and also as the fuel blends change. IMHO
As far as a test pipe goes you can give it a try at the track or when dyno'ing but I'd leave the main in the rest of the time for the reasons above as well as the codes that will be thrown.

The black box idea sounds like the best route if you don't have a cat. If it's like an o2 simms it will give the computer the reading it needs and you won't throw a CEL.

You do have a Y-pipe dyno to compare it to right?
