2K2 Possible Power Loss From Stop...

Hi all, I've been having an interesting issue in my 2K2 auto. Recently, probably once or twice every week, I will be going from a green light or a stop sign, and will start moving. The Max hits 4k in 1st before I really feel any power whatsoever, shifts to 2nd at around 2k instead of near 3k (the usual) and still some loss of power. I remember some months back there was a TSB to flash the ECU in 2K2s. Is this still valid? Some kind of power loss TSB or something along those lines. Any info would help out, thanks a lot guys.

I have a '03 auto. Is that normal, where the Max shifts from 1st to 2nd at around 4k rpms? Cause my Max doesn't even come close to that. Is that with light to moderate throttle? My Max shifts very early...maybe like 2k - 2.5k rpms.
I basically have to floor it to get it to rev that high.

And yes, there is a Lack of Power TSB. I think the # is NTB03-023. It calls for a new MAF if needed and a ECU reprogram.

Thanks for the info guys. Anyone have this done at a dealer off warranty? If so, what was the cost for just the ECU reprogramming? My MAF is fine at 20Kish miles but I would like to get the ECU flashed without taking out my intake (which is a simple Berk setup).

I got the ECU reprogramming done and the first thing they asked me was if i had a cold air intake or not. so yeah take it off. I"m not sure if he meant any intake or indeed the CAI only.
