Whats up guys,
I have a white 2000 se. Just wondering if any of you have suggestions on mirror or black tint. Which should I go with? Is there a cost difference? Or does anyone have a white max with pics of either? I cant decide. Havent seen a max with mirror tint yet. Thanks for the help guys

I have mirror on mine. I like the mirror tint cause it offers a little more privacy. I'll try and get some pics up.

Come on guys...Mirror tints look cheap and tacky. Black tints look cleaner and sharper on a car. Especially a white one.

It's all about personal preference. How dark is your black tint? We have strict tinting laws, so it can't be that dark.

Actually you are more likely to be pulled over for mirror tints then for black tints.

Depends on what you're putting it on for...

I've got mirror on my Icelandic 2k because I'm looking for more privacy and I'm also looking to keep the sun out of the eyes of a baby in the back seat. If I was going strictly for looks, I'd opt for the smoke. The silver in the mirror doesn't match the color of anything on the car, but the smoke seems to match the black of various pieces of trim, tires, etc. On a side note - the mirror looks great on a green car. Just my 2 cents.

I'll try and email you some pics of my Icelandic Pearl with mirror tint. I have illegal darkness, however I was pulled over by a California Highway Patrol cop for speeding and he didn't even say a word. CHP are notorious for busting people for illegal tint. I've had plenty of friends with limo black tint get pulled over. Cops can tell it's illegal darkness easier than my mirror tint. Also, if you live in sunny hot areas the black tint turns purple after a couple years especially here in Arizona. My mirror tint was GUARANTEED not to fade or turn colors. My tint takes on the color of my paint and reflects differently during different lighting conditions like sunset, parking garage lights, and street lights. It's pretty cool, but mine still has little water pockets which I've never seen with limo tint. You should get limo for the band across the front windshield, otherwise you will see the 1" overlap between the mirror and factory stripe. It looks better and doesn't contrast with the side mirror on my car. I would also get your sunroof in limo(I wish I had), since on sunny days you get too much light shinning in your eyes with the mirror.
