Thanks. I just got a digital camera and am learning how to post pics. If anyone has any ?'s feel free to ask. That's how I started and I just wanted to return the favor to the .Org who has been of much help. All info here has helped in keeping mod cost down by performing all installs by myself.

Looks nice, its screaming for that drop you have planned though. Why'd you go with blue for the calipers? I don't know if they go too well with the color of your Max. I would have went with red or silver, but that's my $0.02. It still looks good though

That carbon fiber looks sweet. The contrast in the material is a little strong but it certainly makes the interior look sporty.

thomasd, did you raise your car?

I got them from New England dash company for about $70 shipped. Overall pretty satisfied with them. But 1 flaw is that 1 is starting to fade. I remember I did wax one of them last summer and I can't remember if it was the one that is starting to fade. Anyone else try waxing these?

Definately not, but it looks that way. As soon as I decide between Tokico blues or KYB's it will be dropped.

The Dynamat made a huge difference in both ways. It quieted the trunk down drastically and it actually did make it louder in the cabin. I do think it may be necessary to stick some sort of packaging material in rear deck. My rear deck from the inside goes up and down about no lie, 3". I even put 2 layers on the back of the license plate itself. I only put one layer on the trunk but it definately needs one more for what I'm pushing.

From everything that I read:
Tokico Blues = stiffer ride
KYB GR2 = softer ride
Tokico Illumina = adjustable ride

Lower the car with whatever you want but install springs and struts at the same time. Teins are the best looking drop but will probably shorten the life of the struts. Maxspeeds offer a very even drop although not a low as the Teins. Maxspeeds are a little more forgiving on the ride as well.

I have been running Maxspeeds on stock struts. My stockers are blown right now and I will be getting the GR2's as replacements.

Blue calipers are ugly. Just an opinion. Since you asked.

...car looks good bro!

as far as the painted calipers... i personally dont like the blue (or red) for that matter- black/silver would be more clean....specially on a dark colored car...but hey you could always repaint or stick it out if if you love it...

Yeah, I've got my Maxspeeds but my factory struts aren't going to last too long because they already feel like $hit with the factory springs. As soon as I can get my struts I will be installing these myself then getting a 4 wheel alignment done.
How long have you been running on stock struts?

I liked the blue alipers because I wanted it to stand out a little. In my opinion I love the blue. Everybody's entitled to their own opinion. Which is why I asked. Thanks for the replies.
