There you go starting trouble again . . . !!! That thing on the back of the engine doesn't matter if your clutch cable stretches!

Yep. Those were ideal track conditions. Nonetheless, I think the timing advance made a difference.

Now, let's see, if I could have had a 2.14 60', that probably would have meant nearly a tenth faster. I'm still amazed at your 14.38!!!

Haven't scanned the slips yet but here are my two best of the day. I also had several 14.6s.

Difference is in parenthesis:
2.195 2.197 (.002)
6.151 6.219 (.068)
9.337 9.444 (.107)
76.70 75.80
12.096 12.237 (.141)
14.390 14.559 (.169)
98.03 96.84

As you can see on these runs, I got progressively faster on the 14.39. I'm certain the reason was because of my rpms at the end of the 60'. Once I hooked up on the 14.39 and was completely off the clutch, my rpms were around 4k. On the 14.55, they were between 2500-3000. I launched from 4k both times.

I really need to work on launching from 5k I think. But, every time I try, I drop too much clutch and spin.
