Wind noise in rear windows!! Help!
I have had my car for a year now and I have gone to three different dealers for work on my rear side windows which have wind noise coming through atspeeds of 7-80 mph. I know it simply the rubber molding being lose but no dealer seems to be able to fix or as they say duplicate the problem. Anyways does anyone have any ideas. thanks

I had the same problem when I bought my '03. It's a really easy fix. I went to a local autoparts store and purchased 3M foam tape. It's about 3/4" wide. I rolled the window down and pulled the seal out of the window as far as I could. After applying the foam and putting the seal back the wind noise was completely gone.
If you're still under warranty, the dealer will do a similar fix as what I described above if you show them the TSB. Even though it's not for the '03 most dealers are well aware of this common issue - Go here: http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/tsb/

I once posted the parts that my dealer used to fix my '02. It's an INSIDE piece of tape, not a rubber piece on the outside. It's different from the '01 TSB.
Someone please search with my username & the keyword: "noise" or "windnoise" and post a link to my thread. There's more info there...
