6 speed tranny warranty?
hiya, just wondering if there is an actual warranty for the 6 speed tranny guys to replace the clutch or the flywheel. considering the dealer can just say that the problem is because of misuse.
was curious about that because i feel like my engagement point is much lower then it was 7K miles ago. car is at 28K I dont drive the car that hard, and i try and push it in all the way every time i shift, but lately it feels like i MUST floor the clutch in order to shift the gear......but i might be imagining things.....

granted all this assumes you didn't really abuse it and they won't find wear from abnormal abuse when they open it. If they open it and there's apparent wear or if there's other evidence you push your car (aftermarket intake/exhaust, stickers for performance products, time slips on your passenger seat, etc) then you're screwed.

if your engagement point is lower then it was, that means your clutch is acutally tightening itself?
When clutches start to go the engagement point get's higher or near the end of the pedal travel coming back up towards the driver. This is opposite of what you described.
If you have to floor it more then normal to get it in gear, check to see if you are low on clutch fluid. When you look make sure you take the cap off. Put some newspaper under the car when you park and check for fluid loss.
Seeing that you are still under warranty, I would bring it in and explain to them what is happening.
