Bose question (dumb)

So I'm listening to a CD in the car and get a call on my phone....I go to pause the CD and....um....where the hell is the pause button? For some reason I've never noticed this before - guess I never had a need to pause a CD before...Am I just missing something, or is the Bose head unit just missing a pause button?

I think there should be either a pause, or mute on the steering controls. But....power works, the system remembers where the cd was at when you power back on. Almost like a pause.

Ha I have a 2k...no steering wheel controls either. Yeah I know just hit power does the same thing....just wondering about the lack of an "actual" pause....it's a slow night here.....

I thought all 2k-2k3 has the radio steering controls. Mine is a 2k1 and I have the radio control on my steering wheel. Am I missing something or I am not reading this right.
