I am a female nissan owner i need your help please this is the second time my service engine light came on and first time autozone reflash it know he pulled the same code but i did not want him to erase it until someone kindly tell me what to do. I dont want to ignore the proble, I have no warranty 50,000 2001 maxima SE. I know dealers will rip me off so if someone on here can suggest what to do i would really appreicate.

I heard there was a TSB be out if so what i need to do please

Take the TSB to your dealer and have them pull the code. The should do it for free, or at least in my case it was...(getting codes pulled). If they replace your cat, that is free...

 

Can someone tell me were is the TSB or what is it so i can tell the dealer

 

i dont have an actual copy of the tsb but the number is 00-070A released in MAR 01 for the ECM - MIL ON/DTC P0420 Stored. this should be covered 8yr./80k because of its a part of emissions.
