Too much modding to void warranty?

I was just wondering how much modding you can actually do without voiding your warranty. I have a friend with a 02 Tahoe and he has a super charger, volant ram air intake, and a drop kit. He takes it in for warranty work all the time and never has any issues with the dealer.
On here i hear some guys saying that they have to unmod thier cars when they go in. Just wondering.
Thanks

depends on the dealer.... lots of nissan dealers tend to blame things that go wrong on the mod... some dealers actually dont care
