HLSD Differential Swap

I am looking to find any information on doing a differential swap to convert my max to the helical limited slip.

Does anyone have any information on where to buy one?

Also, any idea as to how hard / expensive a job it is to swap?

Lastly, what other modifications, if any, are worth doing while everything is apart for the differential swap?

Thanks a lot for any help.

Most likely if it's similar to the non-LSD vs. LSD 2K-2K1s, you'll need at least the HLSD drivers' side axle. I'd bet it isn't possible to just swap the open diff for the HLSD.

You could always try the PhantomGrip.

POLO was looking into this..i believe the tranny case is different, so your best bet is to find a wrecked o2-03 and get the tranny from that car. As for phantom grip, im not sure if they make one. If they do, its a great bang for the buck mod!

I've already researched it. It's around $2000 at DaveB's price. The axles are the same for both LSD and non-LSD. All you need is the tranny and the tranny case.

Installation would be between 4-6 hours.

No upgraded flywheels or clutches are available as of yet.
