I just got my 01 SE AE and on my commute I noticed two things. 1) The ride with the 17" wheels and sports suspension certainly isn't cushy. If anything it is a bit harsh. I don't mind it, but I don't want any harsher. And 2) too much body roll.

I have a Courtesy FSTB that I haven't installed yet. What esle can I do to make my Max handle better without making the ride much harsher?

Thanks,
Mark F

FSTB and RSB would be your best bet. Lowering springs and new struts would also help the handling, but make the ride a bit harsher.

At least get the RSB. Its one the best handling upgrade you can add on to the max. Yes you can feel the difference and it does help with cornering ability. As for the lowering springs, I would love to get them on my car, but i ? the harshness as well. I don't want my "performance <i>sedan</i>" to look like some bouncing ball going down the road. I have seen a few accords around here that look they ride like s***. Just from how the front end bounces when they hit a bump. Don't know any other way to explain it but, they just bounce up and down like the springs are too tight. I'm sure that for the max they are not that bad b/c if they were very few people on this board would have them.

I just want to ride in one with the eibachs before I buy. But yeah go for the rsb first and then maybe a wheel/tire upgrade.

Most of those cars I bet are riding on coil-overs at their lowest height or cut springs. I'm sure the eibachs wouldn't ride like that. I totally agree those kids in those cars look like idiots.. heads bobbing up and down on smooth roads..
