Can anyone confirm that this the place to use a floor jack (front under engine)?



^^^This little "****" with rust behind the two "brass looking" bolts".

That's the perfect place. Even has a nice point to do so.


Why does it have a little rust at that spot?

I'm guessing someone at the dealership I go to used that to do something at some point...possibly one of the bays was full when I went in for service.

Its rusty because he probably hit the stoppers in front of your parking lot.
