The cheapest car-part.com has is around $300 for a lid with basically no description. I know Jose has had his eye out, but I had 2 people say they could donate their lid as a donor but then I haven't heard back from them. I will PM the 4 people in on this deal about adding $50.00 for the trunk lid to be bought from a yard.

Jose also agreed to do this deal with the 4 people.. So you guys don't have to worry about it not going through, the rest of the expenses are being covered (mmhmm). I will contact you 4 individually and get a general concesus on time and etc..

The trunk lids will continue to be sold, but the price will go up slightly to accomodate the one-off building costs. From now until the time that the first trunk lids are made people can jump on the price of $715.00 shipped.

^use your imagination, CF isnt that hard to picture. Imagine a black trunk lid on your car.

 

no mean like how the seem will be on the licens plate part

 

From the concensus of the group of 4 people. we are going to completely remove the seamed piece on the trunk lid. There will be stock mounting points for the license plate bracket and lights.

Basically this will be a frenched trunk lid.. it will look near identical to stock but with some carbon fiber and no seams.
