CD player over heats when warm
I have a 2003 Maxima SE, when I play a cd for a long period of time(like 30-60mins) the music starts getting scratchy and then stopps with an error. Everytime I remove the cd it is really hot. I know it is not the cd because I put in brand new ones. Just wondering does this happen to anyone else. P.S If I use the heater, it overheats in 10mins.

i dont think it should get that hot in just 10 minutes. this sounds stupid but you might want to check that your heating/air ducts arent cut/damaged in the back letting all the heat get into the electronics in the dash. yes it sounds funny, but then again this is a maxima we're talkin about...
