Should I paint the callipers

Im thinking of painting my calipers and leaving the stock rims. What does everyone think? Should I do it and if so what color should I paint the calipers.

I say paint them glossy black or silver. I like red also, but you will get flamed for that. When I get my upgraded rotors, I am painting them. Not sure what color tho.

IMO i think its ok to paint them silver or black with stock wheels, body, brakes, etc.

but, any other color with stock equipment is rice! i mean...our stock brakes suck - they are dinky! to paint them a color like red - which screams "hey look at me, i'm dinky little cheap stock brakes" = a true example of 100% rice!

got a body kit, phat upgraded brakes, etc, etc...then you can do whatever you want! upgraded brakes have the right to stand out - the right to say "look at me"!

just make sure the car/brakes deserve painted calipers!

I'm with fishhouse. The only reason I painted mine black was to get rid of the nasty rust/copper color...

Mine are black and they look good. If I ever get a big brake kit, I might consider a flashier color.

I think I will go with silver or black this summer after I install slotted rotors. I just wanted to check with everyone so I dont make anything look like ricey.

I like my red calipers. Dont notice them a lot with my stock wheels, but I think it looks nice. But black or silver would be cool too.

See, ya barely notice on the car, but it looks kinda cool if ya pick up on it

omg I LOVE PEARL Maximas!!! haha yeah dude, i like the red on stock rims. One of the reasons why I chose red. Dont care if its ricey, we have a maxima, not a 1983 Civic with a 4 feet high rear spoiler.

I agree about silver or black on stock calipers and brighter on BBK's or different calipers. Here's close ups of mine.

G2 silver stock calipers behind my 17" Konig Tantrums-sorry, this one is an old pic of before the drop
