For those who have done the side blinker rewire:

You know how the side markers stay on when you turn on your headlights and they turn on and off alternating w/ the front turning signals? Can you make it so that they do not turn on when you turn on your headlights and only turns on and off when you activate the turn signal?

 

cut the power wire and run a new wire to the corner. tap the power from the corner to the power of the orange turn signal from the headlight. that should do it

Yes, that is the correct process. Your lights will alternate when parking lights are on and will blink in unison when lights are off. Use wire taps if you can't solder. Have fun.
