Last step before ordering EVO2 Exhaust

I found the cheapest place to order the Greddy EVO2 exhaust and just thought I should get last few comments before I go ahead and order:

Adventon EVO2 Exhaust

1. Got any other cheaper place than this?
2. Any Like it or hate it comments?
3. If you guys like it then off I go.....and yes I'll post pictures after I get them installed..lol

Coffee cab muffler on a pseudo classy car such as a Maxima would look sort of weird, IMHO. But then again, if it sounds good and gives decent gains, why not?

Great product, but I also dont like the large tip. Check out the frankencar cat-back?? Dont know how much noise increase you want though, that one is quiet, the Greddy is supposed to be somewhat loud

I saw the video clip comparing the HKS exhaust and EVO exhaust that was made by one of the .org member few months ago, and from the noise increase I think its ok, I've give frankencar a few looks but I think the muffler it comes with is too quiet for me (Visually, almost looks like our stock variable flow muffler, which isn't a bad thing just not my taste). If it gets too loud, I can always keep the B-section and put the stock rear section back on, right?

Dude seiously reconsider and get the Cattman cat back. The Big ole single tip ruins the classy duals of the 2k2 (imo). And the Cattman sounds and looks real nice w/o making too much noise. $.02.

The Cattman exhaust does sound and perform great. I had it on my 2000 and I have it on my '97. You can see a few pics on my homepage from my old 5th gen.

Don't like the Evo style in general, especially on a 5th gen...but to each his own...

Thanks for all the replies up till now, I've seriously consider Cattman too, but the Price of the complete CatBack got me down (Whopping $599! from Cattman website) Unless you guys think its worth the price, I'll take another closer look at it.

Just like many others I'm also looking for that 350Z exhaust tone. Hope one of these catback can give me what I want. Btw, I saw the pictures of Cattman exhuast I think it looks good, but you guys think its worth it to pay $599 for Cattman exhaust?

You cant really go wrong with the GReddy! Also the muffler sits pretty high under the rear fender so its not like youll have this huge shinny thing on the bottom of your car. Its a good choice! By the way, thats a smokn' price, you should jump on it!

Besides, the noise level....I care a lot for the look, I have Stillen Rear Valance install at the back and think EVO looks pretty good with it, but I havn't seen Cattman Exhaust with Stillen Rear yet, maybe someobody that has this setup and post a picture of it?

I dont think any exhaust is worth that price. As far as exhausts go, You cant go wrong with the quality of the Greddy, the same also goes for Cattman. As far as looks and sound goes, that is subjective to each persons wants and desires. As for performance they are all the same. Its really up to you, you gotta decide what exactly you are looking for and then select the proper exhaust. Another option for you since you have a 2K2 is welding some 3inch Magnaflow tips on your stock muffler and getting a Budget B-pipe. The stock muffler on our year car is really good, quite frankly the whole exhaust is pretty good except the b-pipe which has a couple crimps in it. You can replace the "B" and get real nice sound and optimum performance while spending far less money.

I absolutly agree that our stock muffler is pretty good (Its from Skyline GTR!), thats why I plan to keep the stock muffler section around until one day I finally get sick and tire of Greddy EVO, I can just keep the B-section and replace the muffler section.

I'm with you on Cattman exhaust, good product but not 600 dollars good.

Thanks all, I've decide to go with the EVO 2
