H4 SUPER PLASMA GT-X - Safe?
Anyone using PIAA H4 SUPER PLASMA GT-X headlight bulbs?
I know that they are not street legal, since not DOT/SAE certified, but how bright are they that will make every cop want to give a ticket for it?
They are probably not as bright as the HIDs, but whats weird is that HIDs are factory installed on newer cars and it makes them street legal, since these PIAAs are not street legal, what makes them not pass the certification? I was thinking because of its purplish color?
I would appreciate any input on their performance, color, and safety of use on the streets.
Thanks.

Haven't gotten pulled over. I don't see why you would get pulled over. Although it might vary from state to state. Not sure. Better a purplish tint than a blue tint. I switched to GTX because the Roadmax were really blue, almost like stock BMW HIDs. If you're worried about the tint, just get PIAA Extreme Whites.
