SMELLS LIKE SOMETHINGS BURNING>>>>HELP

ok my freind did a fog light rewire...it was working good the first day....the second day the left light stopped working and now wen i turn the foglights switch on it smells like some wire is really burning any ideas of wat it is....has this happened to anyone alse...

Could be the fuse being fried...... Did you wire them correctly? Did you forget to wrap the bare wire with lots of tape?

would the fuse keep getting freid though or it just blow the first time and thats it...cause it smeels everytime i turn them on....and i m not usre he tapped it cause i didnt do it...

no, fuses blow and that's it. could be a loose connection that makes a little short and hence you get the smell, or could be improper wiring. just go visually over all the wires.

maybe the water got in the connection?
my fog wires got fried, because the electrical tape was loose and water got into it, so i just rewired it.

Same thing happen to me last week. Melting right threw the wire loom too.

nissan uses real low-guaged wiring for all of our electrical components, especially lighting. double-check all your wiring and make sure everything is still intact. you should not be smelling any burning inside of the cabin. if anything, the burning smell should only be in your engine compartment, near the fusebox.

Maybe I should do this for you? never let a Greek do a Polak's Job.

I think you need a thicker wire. I think I used 12 or 10 guage.
