rear sway bar

I know this has been asked a thousand time but since search is not working I was wondering which rear sway bar is the best for the money.
I know that some of them have brackets that you have to move the brake lines and such. Please any help is much appreciated.

From what I seen all the sway bars are the same. I Have the stillen one but if I were you i'd look at the progress since they are all the same from what I heard.

You'll pay more for Stillen but I love mine... It has the necessary hardware to go around brake lines, etc... Also I have heard people complain about having to be careful around speedbumps on other brands, and I drive over at least 10-15 speedbumps throughout the day and I have never scraped once, and I don't baby it by going slow over them either! I've had mine over 80k miles so far, it works great!

It wasn't out when I got mine.. I hear it's similar to Stillen; if it is, by all means I'd go Progress too.

I have Stillen's, but next time around I would get one of the less expensive ones. I don't think there is much difference in performance and you can save some money.

The RSB has tremendous impact - it just levels the car. You'll love the feeling - the car just sling-shots out of curves. On the other hand, there is a more pronounced axle hop on bumpy roads.

The net result: Unless you drive on bumpy roads a lot (gravel, etc.), you can't go wrong. If you do drive on gravle or poor asphalt ("roulette"), I would do some testing before making the decision.

Good luck !

If you are lowered and don't want your rear brake lines ground open get a Stillen bar.

I'm no fan of $teallin... but my $teallin rear sway bar is a pretty quality piece...

I think it's better than the sway bars that use the "U" bolts...

Ive had the Progress bar in place for about 2 weeks and it made a big diff in handling. From the research I gathered prior to purchasing, here's why I figure:

Progress Bar: Cheapest, but not the easiest to adjust from to "stiffer". (install write up: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=189641)

Addco: a bit more $ than Progress, same design, but side brackets "look" easier to adjust. (link to addco install: http://audtatious.win.net/audio/tech/addcorsb.html)

Ebay-Stillen Knockoff: cheaper than a real stillen, but still cost more than Addco and Progess. Appears to be identical to the real thing, other than the name.
Stillen: most expensive, thickest, but probably the easiest to install and adjust due to thier brackets. (install instuctions: http://www.paulwendy.com/maxima/rsb.htm)

I'm very happy with my Progress bar for the money, but to adjust it to stiffer mode, I'll have to fiddle with it a bit more. Not a problem for me, but could be for someone else.
